November 24, 2017 – The Excelsior Springs School District has received a rebate of $2,315.81 through the Missouri School Boards’ Association’s procurement card (P-Card) program.  The Payment Solutions P-Card program saves school districts money by improving controls over spending and reducing paperwork for staff.

By using the P-Card for purchases, school districts have the ability to restrict purchases to only certain product categories and implement spending limits for each card. Participating districts also receive a rebate based on the purchases they make using the card.

“The Excelsior Springs 40 District is to be commended for taking advantage of The P-Card program to earn rebates on school district purchases so that more resources can be spent in the classroom,” says MSBA Executive Director Melissa Randol, Esq.

The P-Card program was first offered by MSBA in 2005. This year, 42 Missouri school districts are receiving over $193,000 in rebates because of their use of the program. Over $1.5 million has been rebated since 2005.
