Operation Christmas Child continues to accept virtual shoebox-filled donations through its online platform for those still wanting to provide toys, school supplies and personal care items to those in need for the Christmas holiday. Operation Christmas Child, under the guidance of the Samaritan Purse, has a mission to demonstrate God’s love in a physical way for children around the globe by sending shoe boxes filled with essential items and gifts. Since the program’s inception in 1993, over 209 children in more than 170 countries and territories have received shoe boxes through the program’s volunteers and participating churches.
