Self-defense claim fails to halt Homestead Village murder case
A Homestead Village murder case will move forward after a judge found probable cause despite a defense filing centered on self-defense claims.
Glen Michael Stice, 55, is facing two felony charges, including first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the shooting death of Daniel Konrardy, both of Homestead Village.
According to the complaint filed by Ray County Prosecuting Attorney Camille Johnston, first-degree murder is a class A felony punishable by a minimum of 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and up to 30 years or life imprisonment.
Stice recently appeared before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori Jeanette Baskins for a preliminary hearing after his defense attorney, Sheena Foye, filed a brief arguing he acted in self-defense and requesting dismissal ofthe case.
