Sheriff’s office joins officials in crisis simulation

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is playing a critical support role in an upcoming fullscale emergency response exercise designed to test how prepared local agencies are for a significant public health emergency.The Clay County Public Health Center (CCPHC) will coordinate the exercise, which will take place May 21 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. It is open to volunteers willing to serve as mock patients, traffic controllers or data entry assistants.
