Excelsior Springs has been known to have had ghostly spirits haunting the halls of several historic properties, including the Hall of Waters located downtown. T.R. Kennedy, building superintendent, is one of many who have witnessed seeing these ghostly spirits and has recently shared his accounts of the haunted building and what lurks deep inside. Kennedy, a longtime city employee and 10th Dimension Ghost Hunter member, grew up in Excelsior Springs and said the Hall of Waters Building has always been where he has wanted to work. When he finally had the chance to become a city employee, he soon realized the rumors of the building being haunted were true. “Over the years, there have always been people in town that have said they have seen a lady in a red dress,” Kennedy said. “One morning, I was buffing the floors at the water bar at four in the morning and felt someone watching me.” As he turned around, Kennedy said he saw a lady wearing a 1950s evening dress with brown hair down…
