With a narrow margin, Missourians have voted in favor of sports gambling.Missouri Constitutional Amendment Two enables the Missouri Gaming Commission to regulate licensed sports wagering, including online sports betting, gambling boats, professional sports betting districts and mobile licenses for sports betting operators.The amendment establishes several provisions. First, it restricts sports betting to individuals who are physically located in Missouri and over the age of 21. Second, the Commission is allowed to set license fees and impose a 10% wagering tax on the revenues generated from sports betting. These funds will be allocated for educational purposes after covering the commission’s expenses and funding the Compulsive Gambling Prevention Fund.
