T-Mobile grant will support ES youth health

Swope Health has received $44,000 from T-Mobile to fund a new project in the Early Childhood Center (ECC) in Excelsior Springs. The grant will go toward creating a new Swope Health KidsCARE clinic inside the ECC to create a space for children in the school and young children in the community to receive optical, medical and dental health. Recently, the ECC team and Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) worked together with Swope Health mobile units. These units are decked out with supplies for optical, medical and dental health. Staff members of ECC say they are excited to have the services available inside the building.
