Through adaptability, Reno celebrates 30 years

From protecting the community to helping staff, the City of Excelsior Springs has been blessed with an employee for 30 years. Clint Reno’s journey with the City of Excelsior Springs began at the Excelsior Springs Police Department (ESPD), where he rose through the ranks to become the police chief. After a distinguished career in law enforcement, Reno embarked on a new chapter. Recognizing the city’s need for an onsite IT person, he stepped up to the challenge, committing to serving the community in a different capacity. Today, he serves as the Information Technology (IT) Administrator — a position he’s held for over two years — showing his professional growth and adaptability. “I did IT for ESPD while I was employed there for 15 years until I became chief,” said Reno. “I was very familiar with the IT side of things and it worked out that I could come back onboard and do that for the city.” As the IT administrator, Reno’s role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities.
