Part 1 of 2 • Jan. 6 Amnesty Month is offered through the Excelsior Springs Municipal Division during the entire month of Jan. 2023 on active Municipal warrants. The program’s purpose was to provide people with active warrants the opportunity to resolve their charges and do so without the fear of arrest. • Jan. 13 Clay County expanded and swore in new commissioners, including Jerry Nolte, Jason Withington, Jay Johnson, JoAnn Lawson and Scott Wagner, who joined Megan Thompson and John Carpenter.
