Jeanne Davison, 91, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at her home.

Jeanne was born Jan. 30, 1927 in Boise, Idaho. She was a 60+ year member of the First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs, Missouri where she was very active. She enjoyed tole painting and was an exceptional seamstress. Her and her late husband, Tobie, raised Black Angus cattle for 30 years. They enjoyed traveling the world, camping and road trips. She loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Myrtle (Thomas) Bedal; daughter, Debra Jean Davison and a brother, Jerry Bedal.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Smith; grandsons: Christopher (Ashley) Smith, and Tobie Smith of Gladstone, Missouri; granddaughter, Lydia Smith of Shawnee, Kansas; four great-grandchildren; sisters: Betty Eddins and Shirley Hubbard of Nampa, Idaho.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3 at The First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs with visitation from 10-11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the church.

Arrangements provided by Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.

    My condolences to Kelly and all of Jeanne’s family. Jeanne and her family were great neighbors.

    Sorry Kelly, I could not make it Saturday my great granddaughter stayed all night she had an ear infection . I loved Jeanne like a sister will miss her enjoyed all our times together.
