March 21, 1929 ~ September 18, 2021 

Alice F Ellett, 92 years, of Excelsior Springs, passed away on Saturday September 18, 2021 at her residence. She was born on Thursday March 21, 1929 in Lathrop, the daughter of the late Brock Calvert and the late Katherine (née Snell) Jordan. Alice married Herbert Ellett on November 27, 1998, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri; he preceded her in death on April 9, 2001. Alice worked for many years as a cook at Excelsior Hospital. Alice loved to read; she enjoyed going to garage sales, thrift stores and Walmart. She enjoyed going out to eat, visiting with friends and talking about the past. She particularly loved the Maxine comic character. Alice was a member of Main Street Baptist Church for over 70 years. She had a terrific sense of humor and a beautiful smile that was contagious. Family was important to Alice and she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. W R Palmer, step-father The Visitation for Alice will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs, followed by her Funeral atm 2:00 PM. Alice's Burial will take place on Friday, Sep 24 at 3:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Rev. James Wesley.
