Betty D. Wilson, 93, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, in Kansas City after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Betty was in-state from 9 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, Nov 30, 2020 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Crossroads Hospice or the American Alzheimer’s Association.

Betty was born April 10, 1927, in Excelsior Springs to David C. and Virgie McKown.

Betty worked for Guys Foods for several years in Liberty.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Everett S. Wilson.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori Wilson of Excelsior Springs, Linda Drussell of Kansas City and Barbara Piburn of Blue Springs; son, Danny Green of Lawson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
