Boyd Elwood Dennis, 81, of Bethany passed away February 2024, surrounded by his family.

Boyd was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran who enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin and knife collecting, and practicing martial arts.

After being a security officer for 35 years, he was addicted to the TV show “Cops.” Boyd was a devoted husband to his wife of 53 years, and a loving father to his six girls and his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Viola Dennis; brothers, Bruce and Brian Dennis; grandson, Alexander Morris; and nephew, James Stephenson.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Dennis; daughters, Luwana Phol, Jodi Rettig, Heidi Emery, Heather Howell, Holly Morris and Celia; grandchildren, Shelia, Apollo, George, Gabriel, Erin, Nicole, Denver and Guin; nephews; Michael, Shawn, Corey and Carlos; and a host of other family and friends.
