Carrie C. Kane, 25, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020, at home from natural causes.

A celebration of life will be held 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, at The Elms Hotel & Spa gazebo.

Kane was born Sept. 8, 1994, in Reno, Nevada.

Carrie had worked the past 8½ years at Excelsior Springs Price Chopper. She loved bonfires, fishing and collecting all kinds of knives.

She was preceded in death by her papa, Bob Connell; and grandmother, Dottie Kane.

Survivors include her parents, Gwendolyn D. and James Pratt; father, Steven M. Kane; sisters, Sarah Kane-Atkins, Alena A. Kephart-Pratt and Azalee C. Pratt; brothers, Jonathon C. Pratt, Izaak M. Martinaz and Devan Kephart; uncle, Jason W. Connell; aunt, Dee Griffin; nieces, Austen, Amberlynn and Holly Heart; nephews, Mathaw, Dawson, Hunter and Bentley, Carter; cousins, Bobbie Joe Connell and Tearney; grandmother, Marilyn Sue Connell, and her two furry “daughters,” Lexy and Riley.
