Catherine Lee Coleman passed away peacefully in her home on July 23, 2022 at Colony Plaza Apartments in Excelsior Springs, MO. Born Dec. 3, 1960 at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of Melvin and Helen Pollard; the fourth of six children.  

Cathy had a passion for her family and was a homemaker before becoming an AVON consultant. She was an avid reader. She loved to write and has left memoirs of her life with her siblings and children. She loved zebras, as was obvious by the dozens of figurines and pictures that filled her apartment. Her faith was very important to her and she loved listening to Christian music and reading her Bible.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Helen; and her brother, Thomas.  

Survivors include two sons, Joshua (wife Cass) of Ponca City, OK, and Christopher (wife Kristen) of Stillwater, OK; as well as seven grandchildren, Bekah, Hannah, Alexa (Lexie), Isaac, Claire, Lottie and Edie; and siblings, Mary Ann (husband Tom), Susan, Mark (wife Jana), and Jim (wife Dottie); as well as nine nieces and nephews, Lynna Vallier, Samuel Smith, Jake Pollard, Ben Pollard, Brandon Pollard, Jacqueline Pollard, Christina Pollard, Miranda Pollard and Sabrina Pollard; and her cat, Gracie.
