Darrell Allen Lee, 68, of Excelsior Springs passed away at his home Feb. 5, 2021.

Darrell was born on Nov. 22, 1952, in Kansas City to John Allen Lee and Mary Jo (Long) Lee. He was united in marriage to Cindy Renfrow on March 31, 1980.

Darrell was a 1970 graduate of Orrick High School. He was a member of the Heavy Construction Laborer’s Union No. 663, retiring from Musselman & Hall Contractors.

His favorite pastimes were composing songs, playing the guitar and singing with his dad.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, John Allen Lee.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Cindy, of the home. He also is survived by his mother, Mary Jo Lee; one brother, David Joe (Sheila) Lee; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and three great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to South Point Cemetery; 35054 Highway Z; Orrick, MO 64077. Graveside services and inurnment will be held at a later date.
