Our beautiful daughter, Deanna Renee Gardner, 29, tragically left us Feb. 22, 2024.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Deanna graduated in 2014 from Excelsior Springs High School.

She was an avid reader. She enjoyed listening to music, poetry, and spending time with her family and friends.

Deanna was kindhearted and had a beautiful soul. We will love and miss her forever.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jon Gardner; maternal grandparents, Mildred (O’Dell) and Dean McCorkle; and her paternal grandparents, Aaron and Alene (Gettings) Gardner.

She leaves behind her daughter, Hazel Grace Gardner (7), whom she loved deeply; loving mother, Cindy Gardner of the home; two brothers, Shon (Susan) Miles and Lindsay (Angie) Gardner; nieces, Elizabeth, Karlie and Laura; nephew, Logan; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
