Eloise Colleen Holtzclaw, 88, of Lincoln passed away Dec. 30, 2023.

A visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs, with a funeral service to follow, starting at 2. A burial will follow the service at Lawson Cemetery.

Mrs. Holtzclaw was born Jan. 6, 1935, in Kansas City. Lois loved crafting and gardening, and was a loyal member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 53 years! She also was a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and was madam president for a time.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Holtzclaw; parents, Ervin Huddleston and Mary (Moore) Huddleston; three sisters, Jean Griggs, Betty Welburn and Mary Maxine Huddleston; and three brothers, Lee Barrett, Robert Huddleston and Charlie Huddleston.

Survivors include her children, Anthony (Donna) Holtzclaw Sr., Bobby Holtzclaw II and Dwayne (Marsha) Holtzclaw; and grandchildren, Anthony (Leslie) Holtzclaw Jr., Bobby (Lisa) Holtzclaw III, Erik Holtzclaw, Angela (Brandon) Holtzclaw, Anna (Alex) Waltman and Antoinette Smith. Other survivors include her step-grandchildren, Chuck (Jenn) Goode, Andrew Smock and Shannan (Allen) Knopp; great grandsons, Trenten, Brayden, Cody, Easton, Tyler, Steven, Phillip and Oliver; great-granddaughters, Ashtyn, Delena and Ruby; and two step-great-grandsons, Andrew and Kyle.
