George Willard Vincent, 88, a resident of Cameron, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Redwood of Cameron.

George was born the son of Orval G. and Nellie (Pittman) Vincent on Nov.8, 1931, in Marceline. He worked in maintenance at the Kearney Truck Plaza in Kearney for 20 years. George also worked for General Mills, Albert’s Milling, and owned and operated his own trash service for many years.

Survivors include five sons, Roger Vincent, Larry Vincent, David Vincent and Billy Vincent, all of Excelsior Springs, and Terry Vincent and wife Katrina of Kansas City; one daughter, Judy Firth of Hamilton; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Harley Vincent; and one sister, Lola Mirick.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Kearney, Missouri, at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020. There is no scheduled visitation.
