Jeffrey Allen Riegel passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 58, in Kearney, MO. His battle with cancer in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a sense of humor or that ornery smile. Despite the pain, Jeff stayed strong until the end.

Jeff was born on November 1, 1963, to Walter Clay and Cynthia Sue Riegel.  Jeff loved to play basketball. After graduating from Braymer High School, he went on to study at William Jewell College.

Jeff’s first love was always the outdoors and the farm he grew up on in Cowgill, MO.  Jeff learned to work hard at an early age.  He loved to hunt and fish and everything to do with the outdoors.  And he loved his Kansas City Chiefs!

Jeff would go on to have two daughters, Jade Riegel and Chelcea Partridge (Josh). Jeff was a wonderful, devoted and very much-loved father. He always taught his girls that family is important and supported them throughout the many accomplishments of their lives.

Preceding him in death, his loving father, Walter Clay Riegel. He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Sue Riegel, brother Walter Kyle Riegel (Beverly), and daughters Jade Riegel and Chelcea Partridge (Josh).

Many family and friends remembered Jeff at a small graveside service. He was a patient, kind and loving son and father. He touched the lives of so many people with his generosity and kindness. Jeff will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jeff’s ashes will be returned to that little country cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his father.

Rest in peace Dad. We Love You More!
