Karen Lee Goodman Lemoine, 77, of Excelsior Springs passed away Thursday Jan. 21, 2021. Karen was born on May 23, 1943, to Charles and Frances Goodman. She was a nanny, a file clerk at Ball’s Clinic and a homemaker. She married Richard Donald Lemoine on Dec. 15, 1974.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Mary Jo Goodman.

Survivors include two sisters, Sandra Shumate (Kenny) of Plattsburg and Martha Coffman (Marion) of Lathrop; a stepdaughter, LuAnn Kongs (David) Marysville, Kansas; a stepson, Chris Lemoine (Gail) Thompson, North Dakota; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends.

Healing farewell services were held at noon Tuesday, Jan. 26, at the Bailey Cox Funeral Home. Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs. The family gathered with friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
