KENNETH WAYNE TACKETT

Kenneth Wayne Tackett, born Sept. 30, 1943, passed away peacefully on Aug. 18, 2023, at age 79. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Jason (Audrey) and Brian (Nicole); three grandchildren, Audrey, Harper and Cage; and his siblings, Barbara and Marsha. Kenneth was predeceased by his parents, James Bryant and Hazel; and his brother, Donald. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Excelsior Springs, and graduated in 1962 from Excelsior Springs High School. In 1963, he began working at the Missouri Department of Transportation, where he was employed for 46 years.

A visitation will be held noon-1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, with a service to follow, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs and a graveside service to follow at the Masonic Cemetery.
