Marsha Denise (Eade) Ford, 76, left this earth peacefully March 18, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Denise was born Oct. 21, 1947, in Highland Park, Mich.
Denise and her husband of 55 years, Lowry Ray Ford, married on Nov. 16, 1968. They lived in Gladstone before moving to Toledo, Ohio. In 1975, the couple moved to Excelsior Springs, where she lived for 49 years.
Marsha, as her colleagues and customers knew her, retired from Walmart in 2015 after 25 years of service.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Merrit and Honey (Hill) Eade; and brother, Dwayne Eade.
She is survived by her husband, Lowry Ford of Excelsior Springs; daughters, Tonya (Andy) Williams of Wood Heights and Andrea (Gary) Hieronymus of Cowgill; sons, Bryan (Sandy) Ford of Fountain, Colo., and Jody Ford of Excelsior Springs.
Other survivors include her grandchildren, Brett (Abbi) Williams, Breanna Williams, Jacob (Emily) Hieronymus, Kevin (Sami) Hieronymus, Makayla Ford, Karen (Joe) Daugherty and Sarah Ford; 10 great-grandkids; and sisters, Lynnia Story and Michelle (Don) McCale.
A celebration of life will be held 2-4 p.m. April 28 at The Excelsior Springs Elks Lodge.
