Melvin Siegel

Melvin Siegel, 86, of Excelsior Springs passed away April 17, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Melvin was born Aug. 22, 1937, to Roy and Oneta Siegel in Excelsior Springs. He was a lifelong Excelsior Springs resident. In 1958, he married Patricia Rogers of Orrick. Melvin retired after 40 years of employment as a branch manager with IBT Inc. He also was a proud, longtime Excelsior Springs Quarterback Club member and an avid sponsor of high school athletics.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Pat Siegel; and parents, Roy and Oneta Siegel.

Survivors include his son, Roger Siegel (Kim) of Excelsior Springs; daughter, Cheryl Clemens (Marty) of Kansas City; sister, Joyce Hurt of Kansas City; grandchildren Ryan Clemens, Drake Siegel (Cierra Frederickson), Ericka (Siegel) Jordan and Adam Clemens (Haleigh Murphey); and great-granddaughter, Alivia Jordan.

The family received friends Monday, April 22, at Flack Memorial Church in Excelsior Springs. Graveside services followed Tuesday morning, April 23, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
