Patricia “Pat” Siegel, 82, of Excelsior Springs passed away on April 27, 2023, surrounded by loved ones, after a short battle with cancer.

Pat was born on Oct. 6, 1940, to Alva and Margaret Rogers in Richmond and grew up in Orrick.

In 1958, Pat married Melvin Siegel and moved to Excelsior Springs. She worked at the Excelsior Trust Co. before becoming a full-time Patricia Siegel

mother and grandmother.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ralph Rogers.

Survivors include her husband of the home, Melvin; one son, Roger Siegel (Kim) of Excelsior Springs; one daughter, Cheryl Clemens (Marty) of Kansas City; one sister, Jeanette Hensley of Orrick; her grandchildren, Ryan Clemens, Drake Siegel (Cierra Frederickson), Ericka (Siegel) Jordan and Adam Clemens; and one greatgranddaughter, Alivia Jordan.

The family received friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 1, at Flack Memorial Church in Excelsior Springs. Graveside services followed at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Pat’s honor to the Make a Wish Foundation of Missouri/Kansas.
