Ronald Scott, 97, of Excelsior Springs, passed away on Aug. 12, 2022. He was born near Orrick, MO on his family farm, and enjoyed being on his farm his entire life. Upon graduating from high school, Ronald joined the Navy and served in the Aleutian Islands. He worked as an electrician at the TWA overhaul base for over 35 years.  

Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Scott.  

He is survived by his daughter, Joy Wightman (husband Gary) of Overland Park, KS and his son, Jay Scott, of Austin, TX. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Scott Wightman of Kansas City, MO and Allison Wightman of Santa Fe, NM.  

A private family service will be held to honor Ronald.
