Sallie loved to read and watch sports, especially the Royals and Chiefs. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren.

After her husband’s passing, Sallie moved to Excelsior Springs and spent many hours socializing with friends, putting puzzles together and playing games. She joined the North New Garden Primitive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene; her son, Neal; her brothers, Donald, Rolley (R.J.), Robert (Bobby) and Luther Thomas (Tom); her sisters, Vallie Stevinson and Frieda Ann Butler; and her brotherin-law, Bari Allen.
