Shannon Bosley (Easler), 51, of Holt, MO, passed away peacefully in her home on Oct. 2, 2021. 

Mrs. Bosley was born Sept. 16, 1970, in Augusta, GA. Shannon attended Lawson High School and worked for Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center for 27 years (where she was awarded The Commitment to Caring Award) as well as Home Depot Garden Center. She loved gardening, cooking, fishing, Christmas, and spending time with her husband, kids, and grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, LaJuana Smelcer, of Lawson, MO. 

Survivors include, husband, Michael Bosley of Holt, MO; children, Ashley McCubbin (Kyle) of Lawson, MO,  Dana Elam (Leandra) of Palacios, TX,  Julia Bosley (Dan) of Kansas City, MO,  and Jason Bosley (Alodie) of Fairburn, GA; parents, Butch and Paula Easler of North Augusta, SC, and Terry Smelcer of Lawson, MO; siblings, Katie Easler of North Augusta, SC and Tim Smelcer (Meg) of Sandusky, OH; four grandchildren, Maverick McCubbin, Charley McCubbin, Emma McCubbin of Lawson, MO, and Elijah Bosley of Fairburn, GA; two nieces and one nephew, Kyrsten, Kinsey, and Joel Smelcer. 

Funeral services were held at Old Union Christian Union in Lawson, MO, on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, at 5 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Holt City Park in Holt, MO, on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at 2 p.m.  

Memorial Contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
