March 4, 1942 – July 31, 2022 

The Lord called Velma Darlene Wallace home at the end of July, after celebrating the Fourth with her extended family. She was born in Soldier, IA, lived in Independence, MO for most of her life, then moved to Excelsior Springs after the flood of 1993.  

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly A Prock, of the home; two brothers, Duane Anderson and Eddie Malcolm of Independence; and four sisters, Eula Parsons of Blue Springs, Marilyn Hoffarth, Sharon McBroom, and Jeanette Hay of Independence.   

Her husband William F. Wallace and son Champ Prock Jr. preceded her in death. 

She will be interred at Park Lawn Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
