Plenty of blame, sure, but praise, too

There is plenty of blame to go around for the lackadaisical attitude shown by some government officials, who seemed more concerened about the threat to the economy than to human life, before they grudgingly addressed what had been a threat, and now is a horrible reality: the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. The virus has spread slowly and predictably over the past few months from China to the rest of the world’s nations, America among them. The disease has filtered into Missouri’s rural and urban communities, causing worry and suffering, including in Clay and Ray counties; but at the community level, good things also can and should be said to put into perspected that, for every idiot, there are a lot of angels. The Excelsior Springs and Richmond school districts are trying to make sure students – too many having no other reliable food source – recieve food. This is a critical service.
