‘Amazing campus’ leads Glaspy to juco baseball program
Klayton Glaspy was wowed when he visited Murray State College.So much so, in fact, that the Excelsior Springs senior recently signed a letter of intent to attend and play junior college baseball for the Tishomingo, Okla.-based school.“Murray State has an amazing campus, field and group of coaches, and everything there looked perfect for me to pursue my goals,” Glaspy said.A four-year starter at Excelsior Springs, Glaspy credits several people with helping him take his game to the next level. They include Shaun Marcumand Scott Collins, who coach the Lumberjacks, his club team. They also include current and former high school teammates.
