The college signings of members of the Excelsior Springs High School baseball class of 2023 continue. Recently, Broc Dusek signed a letter of intent to play for Central Methodist University, a Fayette-based NAIA school that plays in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. Dusek’s commitment is part of a string of signings that includes Mason Danner, who’s bound for Park University; and Lucas Dillman, who’s headed to Crowder College. “I really liked the coaching staff, the campus and the new baseball facilities recently upgraded on campus,” Dusek said. Dusek will join a program that went 36-19 this spring and reached the NAIA postseason tournament after a four-year career at Excelsior Springs, where he was a letterwinner and helped the Tigers place third this year at the Class 4 state tournament.
