January 26, 2017 — The seventh grade Lady Tigers struggled to come out and score against a fast-pace Harrisonville Wildcat team Thursday, Jan. 18.

Harrisonville pressured every inbound play, forcing the Lady Tigers to scramble just to get a pass in.

Coach Richie Marsh led the team to only score two points in each the first and second quarter, allowing the Wildcats offense to slip away before the half. The Wildcats lead the Lady Tigers 12-4.

The Lady Tigers came out of the half with energy. Lashelle Whitney scored four of the total six points for the Lady Tigers.

Marsh couldn’t get the defense going, allowing the Wildcats to score 17 points in the second half.

Whitney scored a total of seven points, Madison Mullikin scored five points, and Haley Butler scored a total of two points, resulting in a 14-29 Lady Tiger loss.
