March 6, 2018 – During the end of the year cheer banquet, seniors Amanda McFarland, Bailey Bennett, and Bethany Aldrich were honored with the Cornerstone Award on March 5. The Cornerstone Award is given to those who represent the vital element, anchor, foundation, and base within the program.
“We found it only appropriate and fitting for each of these individuals who have committed themselves to our program for four years,” said head coach, Meranda Lefebvre. “Each of them has individually played such an important role in how we have built up the integrity, talent, and success of this program over the last four years.”
“These seniors showed up at every game, every practice, every camp,” added Lefebvre. “Cheerleading is in their heart, and it has shown through and through. We hope the memories and experiences will always be a part of them.”
When they were called up to accept their awards, Lefebvre thanked them for their commitment and dedication to their role in helping keep the Tiger spirit alive throughout the school and community.
