X-Box’s and controllers will be provided, but Beaver said they recommend players bring their own controllers if they can. The community center will provide food and drinks.

Deadline to register for the event is Friday, but Beaver said she will not turn anyone away the day of the event. More information can be obtained at esparkrec.com, on Facebook, by calling 816-630-1040 or emailing Beaver at kendrabeaver@ esparksrec.com.

Beaver said ESPR continues to look to the future in their attempts to include everyone in their events. She said they continue to revamp and try to go with the popular flow.

“That’s what parks and rec is about,” she said.
