ESHS recently announced junior Ethan Cole, senior Corbyn Hutchings, senior Brody Willis, senior Tim
Cushman, junior Breyden Haight, junior Cameron Huett, senior Simon Holst and senior Marco Martin achieved the qualifications to be named to the team.
Head Coach Mark Faubion said he described these players as quality young men who understand the importance of not only becoming good athletes but also doing well in the classroom as well.
“I am very proud of their ability to juggle a tough workload throughout the day at school, and then be able to come in and work equally as hard on the field, then repeat and do this on a daily basis,” he said.
In order to be named to the academic team, students must fulfill two of three criteria. Criteria include a score a 25 or higher on ACT or 1740 on the SAT, a 3.5 or higher, non-weighted GPA and a top 10 percent ranking in their class.
