Local nabbed for fentanyl trafficking

On March 26, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, combined with the efforts of the Excelsior Springs Police Department, served a search warrant in the 1000 block of Rowell Street in Excelsior Springs. Eight people inside the suspected apartment were initially detained when the STAR (Special Tactics and Response) Team served a narcotics search warrant, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

The Excelsior Springs Police Department reported the following arrests handled recently by the department. THURSDAY MARCH 9 At 8:58 a.m., Beverly McCormack, 33, was arrested for failure to appear.

Haslett enters not guilty plea again
