JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, or DHSS, reminds Missourians the battle against COVID-19 continues. In Ray County over the past four weeks, the death toll has risen from 26 to 28 people, the county health department reported.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Community residents, public safety personnel, the WaterFest Committee and festival vendors said canceling WaterFest because of downtown flooding, damage and impending thunderstorms made sense.

Public aids Salvation Army after fire

City renews ambulance agreement

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The city renewed its agreement with the Eastern Clay County Ambulance District. On June 21, the City Council approved a one-year agreement, slated to take effect Thursday and expire June 30, 2022.
