Residents press city on mining damage, council tackles infrastructure

Residents living along Cameron Road filled the Excelsior Springs City Council chamber to plead for help with blasting, dust and property damage they say has worsened since Ideker began expanding its mining operations.

Bill was a proud graduate of The Excelsior Springs High School class of 1955 where he lettered in football, earned the affectionate name “Wee Willie,” and made lifelong friendships and memories with his cherished classmates, never missing a class reunion. It was at The Excelsior Springs First Baptist Church that Bill came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.

SAFE to host Strengthening Families 10-14

Excelsior Springs Substance Abuse Free Environments (SAFE) is organizing a program to assist families in improving communication and strengthening relationships. The Strengthening Families 10-14 Program is an evidence-based initiative is also aimed at decreasing youth substance use through a series of seven engaging weekly sessions.
