Shannon Bosley (Easler), 51, of Holt, MO, passed away peacefully in her home on Oct. 2, 2021. 

Mrs. Bosley was born Sept. 16, 1970, in Augusta, GA. Shannon attended Lawson High School and worked for Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center for 27 years (where she was awarded The Commitment to Caring Award) as well as Home Depot Garden Center. She loved gardening, cooking, fishing, Christmas, and spending time with her husband, kids, and grandchildren.

Joyce Ann McCrery, 87, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away on September 29, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Lawrence Willard Jones and the late Beulah Ester Longenbaugh.

Leonard Eugene (Abner) Easley

Leonard Eugene (Abner) Easley, 85, passed away on September 30, 2021 at his home in Lawson, MO, after a three year battle with cancer. He was born December 5, 1935 to Leonard Morton and Livie Alpha (Waters) Easley in Excelsior Springs, MO. He was the youngest of seven children. He was a 1954 graduate of Excelsior Springs High School where he was a member of the football and field and track teams. He held the school record for the discus throw for 30 years. His record was finally broken by an athlete who came to him for pointers.

Paul Joseph Shaffer was born Nov. 16, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, to Eugene and Eva Maesch Shaffer. He had two brothers and three sisters. He has one surviving sister, Mary Cheek of Nashville IN.
