The Excelsior Springs Police Department reported the following arrests handled recently by the department. Wednesday, March 20 At 10:20 a.m., Sarah Stueve, 38, was arrested for outside warrant service.

Cline welcomed as new ESFD Assistant Chief

Excelsior Springs is gaining an experienced employee and instilling confidence in the local first responders. Joe Cline has accepted the position of Assistant Fire Chief at Excelsior Springs Fire Department (ESFD) and started earlier this week.

White, Snelling take seats on ES School Board Unofficial General Municipal Election results, with all precincts reporting, have been released by Clay County Board of Elections Commissioners’ Chairman Darla Wierzbicki. Of the 179,294 registered voters in Clay County, only 12.38% — 22,191 — chose to cast a ballot on April 2.

ES welcomes swim team, enters into agreement with UHMC

Excelsior Springs City Council has entered into a rental agreement with a recreational swim team for use of the Excelsior Springs Community Center pool. Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Center Nate Williams explained the details of the rental agreement with Purple Wave Swim Team (PWST).
