Excelsior Springs awarded $21.5 million in RAISE grant

Excelsior Springs has some more money to devote to road infrastructure – $21.5 million, to be exact. The city recently announced the federal government is directing that amount to Excelsior Springs through the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program.

BOE approves Evert to finish Houck’s term

The Excelsior Springs Board of Education has filled a vacancy. Nominated by Troy Snelling, the board unanimously approved Jill Evert Monday night at the Support Services Center to finish Steve Houck’s term as director.

When Cliff and Debbie Van Till founded the Van Till Family Farm Winery in 2009 in Rayville, they hoped they would build a multigenerational business. And with the creation of a new business in downtown Excelsior Springs, the Van Tills have taken a step toward realizing that goal.
