REGAN ROE Tucked away near Corum Road southwest of Excelsior Springs, the Price-Slaughter Cemetery stands as a testament to the area’s rich history and the legacies of the prominent families interred within its stone walls. Established in the mid-19th century, the cemetery serves as the final resting place for the Price and Slaughter families, two well-known names in Clay County’s past.

ES native among top honorees at UCM awards
