Marsh honored as Best Coach

A dedicated Excelsior Springs School District (ESSD) coach has been recognized by the community for his outstanding contributions to the development of studentathletes. Excelsior Springs Middle School (ESMS) Athletic Director Richie Marsh has been honored with first place in the Town and Country Leader’s prestigious 2024 Community Excellence Awards in the Best Coach category.

The Excelsior Springs Police Department reported the following arrests handled recently by the department. Wednesday, January 15 At 9:32 a.m., Frederick Walters Jr., 57, was arrested for (MISD/ C) assault – 4th degree – pursuant to subdivision; (felony) assault – 2 nd degree; burglary 1st degree; armed criminal action.
