CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting pavement resurfacing operations on Missouri Route N between Seybold Road and MO Route 210 starting approximately Tuesday, July 30, until Friday, Sept. 6, between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. resulting in various lane closures. All work is weather permitting. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.

A Lawson man has posted a $5,000 bond after being charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor.

The City of Excelsior Springs has received approval from Meals on Wheels America (MOWA) to allow for plans to introduce a daily visit service along with meal delivery.
