JEFFERSON CITY – Gov. Mike Parson said he would like to reopen businesses in Missouri starting May 4, one day after his stay-home order is scheduled to end.

JEFFERSON CITY – Federal policymakers have provided a substantial amount of fiscal relief to state and local governments to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, but Missouri and other states need much more to avoid spending cuts that would harm families, destabilize communities and deepen the recession, based on a new report from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

GROCERY STORES remain open as most of America is shut down. But going to the grocery store should not be used as a pleasure trip. Since the coronavirus is most commonly transferred through other people, the CDC advises the public to plan trips at a time when stores are least crowded.
