ES softballer signs with MCC-Maple Woods

Another Excelsior Springs softballer is taking her game beyond high school.

Senior Daelyn Williams has signed to continue her athletic career and education at Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods in Kansas City.

Other schools Williams considered included North Central Missouri College in Trenton. She chose MCCMaple Woods because she could live at home and have a short commute, she said.

Press release – Missouri State Representative has again filed legislation to ensure employees of the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) are mandated reporters. Known as “Emilyn’s Law,” the bill comes in response to a news story that revealed MSHSAA employees were not required to report allegations of sexual abuse to law enforcement.
