RICHMOND – Clay County Commissioners Gene Owen and Luann Ridgeway lost another bid to prevent Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway from seeing commission meeting records, based on information released Monday.

“The Missouri Constitution does not limit the auditor’s access to certain kinds of records or evidence in conducting the audit,” Clay County Circuit Judge James Van Amburg ruled after hearing from both sides in the case Oct. 23.

ALONG with the steel girders and walls going up, workers have poured floors for Cornerstone Elementary School at Wornall and Lodwick. Voters in June agree to fund the new school, replacing Westview. The building is set to open in the fall of 2021.
