Like anything else in life, being a sports parent has its ups and downs. For me, there have been more ups than downs.

As the summer season draws to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the idea of taking my passion for volleyball to new heights. At the moment, I’m actively involved in two sand volleyball leagues - one at the Elks Lodge and the other at the Sandbox.

My beloved grandfather will soon celebrate his 90th birthday and I’m happy to be helping organize a surprise party. My mother and I have been diligently planning a surprise celebration for him at our local church.

Having a pet can bring joy and companionship, but it also comes with its own set of challenges. In my household, the challenge is Percy, a reactive dog that is not fond of other dogs, causing a significant amount of stress.
