Body RICHMOND – Area nursing homes recorded dozens of COVID-19 cases and several deaths, based on ProPublica reporting. “This is data the nursing home itself is reporting to the federal government,” ProPublica Deputy Managing Editor Charles Ornstein stated Monday by email.

Body Ethel Lucinda Martin, 75, of Excelsior Springs, passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at her residence.

Body On Dec. 16, 2020, Stephany Ann Brown Hughes, Ph.D., passed away at her home in Excelsior Springs from complications related to Parkinson’s.
